I use the official FG-server, but at the moment it's slow like hell!

The 777 isn't on the download page anymore and it also isn't integrated into the basic fg-package!

uh, I just tested it out @KSFO- and it lags quite a lot. I suspect that this comes from the more beautiful 3D-Clouds :?

Hey :)

Finally! I'm d/ling it at the moment, can't wait, too. Are the old scenery files working on the new Version?

On D/L Page it shows:
"Ready to run versions of FlightGear are available for many different platforms:

Windows (v0.9.10)"

Wich has to be updated, too. First I thought I have to build it ;) So if it works fine, I just can't wait for making some flights and of course looking forward to some new aircraft.

HBlackbird - Yes. The 0.9.10 scenery will work with 1.0.0.

However, some of the airports have been updated with more accurate data, so in some cases you may find that you start off to one side of the runway, or an ILS won't line up quite perfectly.

There will a new set of scenery generated in the new year to fix this.

Fine, thanks :)

Just wanted to know this before I copy the whole bunch on hdd. First impressions of the new fg: nice! Working buttons, lights, things like the blackbird's braking is quite nice! It seems to be stable and smooth, but I have to remap my controls a bit, as I can use NumEnter to move rudder OR have the chat window opened, but not both of them. I have rudder on Num-0 and Num-Enter, it was easy to reach with the keyboard left to my joystick.

The new list in the fg wizard looks more comfortable, easier to find planes. So, now I will take some looks more :D
