  1. Good work, but i have Flightgear 2.10 the complete package.
Is the old scenery from 2.10 also compatible with the new version of Flightgear 2.12?.

    1. Yes, the scenery from v2.10 is forward compatible with v2.12. The main differences in v2.12 was just the addition of more objects. The scenery release in both cases was v1.0.1. We now have a complete rebuild (v2.0.1) of the world scenery at a much higher detail level (and consuming much more space.) The new scenery provides more accurate and detailed terrain across the whole world, very accurate (OSM based) highways and major roadways, very detailed land cover (rivers, fields, cities, forests, etc.) for Europe, a very large number of airports have been improved with more accurate and detailed layouts. The new scenery is currently available through “terrasync”, torrent, and on physical media through the FlightGear store.

  2. Good work guys!

It is really cool to see such a great Open Source Flight Sim and Active Community.

    Best Wishes,
    Arno

  3. Many Thanks! I do volunteer work for Distributed Proofreaders, which is a strictly volunteer world wide organization dedicated to producing ebooks for free distribution through the Gutenberg Project Library. So I believe that I know your motivation too. And ’tis a worthy cause!
    Again, thanks,
